About us

North East Fire Safety Services is an independent company based in the North East of England founded in April 2000 by two partners with 30 years of experience in the industry. Its aim is to provide and promote an efficient service to customers to maintain portable fire extinguishers and associated fire fighting equipment in the Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham and surrounding areas.

North East Fire Safety Services provides a high quality service to a wide customer base whose businesses include factories, large and small, the construction industry, retail units, residential establishments, schools and colleges, both local and national and any other premises where fire extinguishers are needed. We have an established and loyal customer base who have benefitted from our experience of working within the industry with both national and independent companies.

From our initial research and ongoing customer contact we are able to offer tailor-made servicing to meet their requirements offering fixed price unit charges allowing customers to accurately budget their requirements throughout the year.

We are based in Newcastle and provide customers with a complete fire protection service in Newcastle, Sunderland, South Tyneside, Durham, Darlington and up to Berwick in Northumberland, Carlisle in Cumbria, and to Redcar in Cleveland. We work closely with other independent fire protection companies to provide the same high quality service to customers who have branches outside of these areas. Because we are locally based we are able to respond quickly to customer's needs providing same day service if requested.

North East Fire Safety Services have been audited and accepted as members of the British Fire Consortium who have representation on the British Standards Committee. To safeguard our customers’ interests, Enhanced CRB Checks have been carried out on all staff who visit customers on site.
